Associate R&D Engineer based in
Mansfield, MA, you will play a key role in the development of innovative Joint Repair technologies that help improve patient outcomes around the world. Working alongside a talented and collaborative new product development team, you will contribute across the full product lifecycle from concept through launch while gaining hands on experience in a fast paced, purpose driven environment
What will you be doing?- Contribute as a technical team member on new product development projects focused on Sports Medicine solutions.
- Design, develop, verify, and validate new products from concept through design transfer and product launch.
- Create prototypes and support verification and validation testing, including authoring protocols and reports.
- Develop and maintain design control documentation including user needs, design inputs, risk assessments, and usability assessments while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with manufacturing engineering and external suppliers to deliver manufacturable product designs.
- Develop and validate biomechanical and mechanical testing methods for sports medicine repair devices.
- Engage with surgeons, marketing, and sales teams to understand clinical needs and customer requirements.
- Support intellectual property activities, competitive product analysis, and product performance evaluations.
What will you need to be successful?- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
- Approximately 0 to 3 years of engineering or product development experience within a regulated or technical environment.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, mechanical design, stress analysis, manufacturing techniques, and statistics.
- Strong collaboration and relationship building skills with internal and external partners.
- Ability to understand, interpret, follow, and continuously improve quality systems and processes.
- Excellent organizational, time management, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% as required.

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $68,250.00 - $102,500.00 USD annually and the compensation offered will depend on the candidate's qualifications, job-related knowledge/skills, geographical location. You will be entitled to receive bonus and benefits, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k, tuition reimbursement, medical leave programs, and a variety of wellness offerings.
