We are looking for a highly committed individual who will play a critical dual role within DaVita Clinical Research (DCR). With a time, allocation of 70% to Feasibility Management and 30% to Project Management, this role serves as the feasibility process owner for evaluating and securing new clinical trials while also driving high-impact operational projects and cross-departmental initiatives. The ideal candidate will bridge data-driven site analysis with strong project execution to support the growth and efficiency of the Clinical Trials team.

This position is hybrid position based in Edina, MN.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 30% - Feasibility Operations & BD Partnership:
    Manage the end-to-end operational execution of the feasibility process, taking a major ownership stake while working in tandem with Business Development oversight to coordinate, review, and submit sponsor questionnaires. Evaluate protocol requirements against DCR site network capabilities, patient populations, and historical performance data to equip BD and leadership with strategic recommendations for site selection. Maintain and continuously optimize a robust database of site intelligence (capabilities, equipment, patient demographics) to fuel data-driven feasibility submissions and streamline BD efforts. Serve as the primary operational partner to the BD team, supplying the finalized feasibility deliverables, clinical data, and operational insights needed to successfully position DCR to sponsors.
  • 25% - Feasibility Coordination & Execution:
    Act as the primary liaison between the Feasibility team, Business Development, and cross-functional site teams to prioritize tasks and troubleshoot roadblocks. Own the bulk feasibility submission process. Complete site questionnaires accurately within sponsor portals and manage client-facing tracker submissions. Add and maintain site data in CCE (Clinical Conductor CTMS), ensuring accurate tracking of feasibility site status. Pull CKD and HD data from internal systems (e.g., CWOW) to ensure highly accurate data representation for feasibility submissions.
  • 15% - Site Communication & Activation Support: Email site managers to collect protocol-specific information, track responses, and maintain active communication with sites throughout the feasibility lifecycle. Follow up on site readiness and sponsor requests for site activation. Confirm and schedule PSV/SIV (Pre-Study/Site Initiation Visits) with DCR sites, managing all necessary communication between DCR and the sponsor. Track activation readiness milestones, including IRT/EDC accounts and vendor/equipment needs. 
  • 10% - Special Project Execution: Execute operational initiatives and research studies of simple to moderate complexity. Support study oversight by managing day-to-day documentation, stakeholder communication, and project follow-up to ensure effective execution and drive clinical trial success.
  • 5% - Tool Development & Cross-Departmental Alignment: Build and maintain project trackers, timelines, dashboards, and reporting tools to ensure visibility into project status. Coordinate across departments to clear bottlenecks, ensure alignment, and keep complex initiatives moving forward smoothly.
  • 10% - Ad Hoc Support: Support ad hoc strategic and operational projects as directed by leadership.
  • 5% - Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics or related field is required.
  • Minimum 4 years experience with and understanding of clinical trial feasibility, site selection processes, and start-up operations
  • Ability to interpret clinical protocols and match them against site capabilities and patient data
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, with the ability to build robust trackers and manage complex timelines
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with CTMS platforms (e.g., Clinical Conductor/CCE) and data extraction/reporting tools
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of managing high-visibility operational projects and supporting cross-functional initiatives
  • Knowledge and experience in nephrology or kidney care
  • ·Project Management Certification is preferred
  • Proven self-starter with high degree of initiative, urgency, and follow through
  • Must be detail oriented with strong analytical, organizational critical thinking and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail​​ required.
  • Travel required, less than 10%
