Full Job Description
The Opportunity

As part of Hamilton Lane's Global Client Solutions Team, the Product Team is responsible for the management and execution of all aspects of our investment programs across our investment platforms, including managing products and assisting with investor relations across the globe. Within the Direct Credit Product Team, the Associate will support product operations, fundraising efforts, and relationship maintenance for our products and solutions. The candidate will review work done by team analysts and will serve as a resource for handling inbound ad hoc requests from investors and prospects.

The successful candidate must be highly motivated, able to communicate effectively and operate in a cooperative and deadline-driven environment where priorities often change.

Your responsibilities will be to:
  • Support the execution of product management and marketing strategies, serving as primary resource for senior product team members.
  • Work with Global Client Solutions sales leads and supporting teams in completing and reviewing RFPs, DDQs, and related due diligence documents in support of new business opportunities.
  • Assist the sales team in creating and reviewing prospect-specific materials for due diligence sessions and pitch meetings.
  • Responsible for regular updates and maintenance of standard product marketing materials, including pitchbooks, fact sheets, and platform decks.
  • Work with senior team members to update the RFP response database and coordinate across teams to support completion of RFPs and questionnaires.
  • Support new products that are transitioning from the development stage to launch.
  • Work with analysts to provide responses for investor inquiries, escalating complex questions to senior team members as necessary.
  • Review analyst work for recurring reporting documents and investor deliverables.
  • Contribute to the training and onboarding of team analysts.
  • Key resource for team and department projects in collaboration with team members and other departments.

Your background will include:
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
  • 3+ years of work experience in the financial services industry, preferably within product marketing or management
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment.
  • Highly motivated and organized, detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable managing up across multiple senior members of the team.
  • Ability to manage through dynamic workload and leverage resources to meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of project/process management in leveraging both junior and senior resources to complete projects and tasks.
  • Proactively identify challenges and work within the team to find solutions.
  • Demonstrated success participating in cross-functional projects.
