Job Description

In the Power, Energy & Infrastructure group, our Associates work in a generalist capacity spanning the following verticals: Power & Utilities, Alternative Energy, and Infrastructure (transportation, energy-related, or other). Clients include global corporations, financial sponsors, governments and other key stakeholders.

We'll trust you to:
  • Perform financial analyses and create models
  • Prepare and create client presentations and meeting materials
  • Interact with client senior executives
  • Help to manage deal processes
  • Mentor and coach Analyst bankers


You'll need to have:
  • At least one year of investment banking experience at the associate level, or an equivalent level of experience in the Power, Energy & Infrastructure Industry
  • Strong interest in Power/Energy/Infrastructure investment banking
  • Top academic performance with comfort operating in an environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, and poise
  • Strong quantitative background and analytical skills coupled with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to multi-task
  • Motivation to work as a team player and contribute to a positive team culture
  • Bachelor's degree required, an MBA and/or JD would be an asset

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $185,000 - $250,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant's years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Financial Advisory's compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
