About the role

Are you an experienced medical communications leader who enjoys shaping high-impact publications and building trusted client partnerships?

Oxford PharmaGenesis is seeking an Associate Medical Director to join on of our growing team in the United States. In this role, you will act as a scientific and content lead across one or more client accounts, delivering strategically aligned publications that meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and impact.

You will combine hands-on scientific content development with strategic advisory responsibilities, supporting publication planning and delivering a range of oncology-focused outputs (eg, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, congress deliverables, and associated materials).

We are keen to welcome someone who enjoys mentoring others and helping to support a high-performing team, with opportunities to provide content oversight, and support business development activities.

We are looking for an Associate Medical Director who has:

  • strong scientific credentials (PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent)
  • substantial experience in medical communications publications, including publication strategy and development
  • confidence partnering with clients and advising senior stakeholders
  • excellent scientific writing and review skills, with strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop others (informal or formal line management experience)
