Job DescriptionYou will be the Associate Manager Quality Engineering (Cable/Harness/Assembly) for the Quality Assurance team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality electronic assemblies, machined and welded parts, and safety-critical systems for defense and commercial customers.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Associate Manager Quality Engineering (Cable/Harness/Assembly) you will be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance function that supports the Cable/Harness & Electro-Mechanical Assembly area.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise direct reports, including career development, performance reviews, and staffing.
- Oversee quality-engineering work assignments such as quoting, capacity planning, budgeting, and capital planning.
- Lead internal and external IPT meetings, corrective-action boards, and quality-metric reviews.
- Implement mistake-proofing, continuous-improvement initiatives, and ISO 9001/AS9100 compliance.
- Collaborate with other Lockheed Martin sites to harmonize processes and achieve mission success.

Basic Qualifications• STEM degree at the Bachelor's level or higher, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (ie SAP, Apriso, etc.)
• Experience with root cause analysis and evaluations
• Experience working successfully in a team environment.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance
Desired skills• STEM degree at Bachelor's level or higher preferred.
• Experience with quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience leading a group of technical individuals.
• Experience with cable/harness and electro/mechanical assembly standards
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001 and NQA-1/10CFR50 Appendix B and/or auditing experience with these standards
• Experience in Quality, Engineering and/or Production Operations
• Experience with MRB and dispositioning of nonconformances
• Experience writing technical reports
• Experience interfacing and interacting with DCMA and/or other government customers
• Certified Green Belt or experience with lean manufacturing and failure analysis
• Certifications or knowledge of IPC-610, IPC-620, J-STD-001
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
