Job DescriptionJob Title: Associate Manager, Operations
Locations: New York City (hybrid)
About the Role
This Associate Manager, Operations role supports hedge fund clients through critical middle- and back-office functions, including reconciliations, trade support, wire processing, and cash management across a range of investment products. The role also serves as a key liaison between clients, counterparties, and internal teams, requiring strong operational expertise, attention to detail, and client service skills.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Providing operational support to hedge fund clients engaged in various investment strategies
- Building andmaintainingclient relationships, and serving as a liaison between clients and prime brokers/counterparties
- Providing middle andback officesupport for the following products: equity, fixed income, swaps, bank debt, contract for differences, futures, commodities, options, FX,mortgagesand repos
- Addressing and researching cash / position / Market Value reconciliation exceptions
- Interacting with various internalSSCGlobeOpdepartments such as Fund Accounting, OTC Operations, InvestorServicesand IT
- Wire processing related to management fees, incentive fees, fund subscriptions and redemptions, and collateral
- Running cash reports and confirming payments with counterparties
- Reviewing work prepared by others
- Training operations staff
Required Experience
- Bachelors in business/finance or related discipline
- 4+years experiencewith Back Office Operations working for either a Prime Broker, Administrator, Hedge Fund, Mutual Fund, Investment Advisor or Financial/Retirement Planner
- Prior experience with various products including equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, FX, Mortgages, options and working knowledge of Corporate Actions
- Middle/Back-officeexperience covering trade settlements, fail control, reconciliation of trade discrepancies, and client servicing
- Solid MS Excel knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
New York: The expected base salary for the position is between $120,000 USD to $150,000 USD.
In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the companys discretion.
