About the RoleWe are hiring two Associate Managers within our New Verticals Fulfillment Strategy & Operations team. Strategy & Operations combines strategic thinking, strong analytical problem solving, and operational execution to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and drive measurable business impact for our New Verticals businesses while working cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Operations to bring these solutions to life.
In these roles, you will drive the strategy and execution needed to build a reliable, scalable Dasher supply and tools for all New Verticals offerings. You may work on attracting more Dashers into shopping, building the tools & technology they use in-store, and ensuring the right supply is available in the right place at the right time. You'll own initiatives that improve the end-to-end Dasher in-store experience and supply strategies that help make shopping more efficient, intuitive, and rewarding. You might even have the opportunity to work on merchant enablement and CPG partnerships with the tools we build!
You will report into a Senior Manager on our New Verticals Strategy & Operations team and be an individual contributor position. We operate in a hybrid model and spend a few days a month in person together. We have two positions so throughout the interview process, we will consider you for two roles and align on role fit throughout the interview process!
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...- Analyze. You love working with data to drive business decision-making and are familiar with SQL.
- Lead: You'll spearhead cross-functional projects, collaborating with Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers to develop and implement tech solutions that increase selection across our New Vertical offerings.
- Strategize: You will own and deliver on improving key selection metrics. You'll create and execute quarterly and annual strategic plans aligned with product capabilities to elevate order quality.
- Build: You will build strategic initiatives and drive innovation across our offerings; this can vary from AI-powered selection predictions to improving the Cx shopping experience. This means everything from high-level strategy to operational details.
We're excited about you because...- You are an operator. You don't hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you're also able to think long-term. You are excited to experience our operation firsthand to inform your strategy.
- You solve problems from first principles. You're excited to think innovatively, and you resist "this is how it's always been done" thinking.
- You're analytical. You possess a sharp analytical mind, and can extract and communicate meaningful insights from data to drive strategic decisions. You are comfortable with SQL and data visualization tools.
- You're AI native. You root cause problems with a systems first approach and can identify how to automate repeatable tasks using AI tools like Claude, Cursor, Gemini or Copilot.
- You have 4-6+ years of experience. You've succeeded in high-performing cultures (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, startups or a related experience).
- You have a completed Bachelor's Degree ideally in finance, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus!
