Job Description:

The Associate Manager, HCP and Patient Engagement will play a key role in supporting the execution of all Healthcare Professional (HCP) and Patient programs across Xeris' marketed products. Focused on the development and execution of HCP and patient engagement initiatives, this role will regularly work cross-functionally with sales, market access, commercial operations, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, and other functions to achieve patient and HCP engagement objectives.

Essential Job Functions
  • Supports the Associate Director, HCP and Patient Engagement in developing objectives and strategies for the overall effectiveness and execution of HCP and patient programs across marketed products in line with business objectives and strategies for each individual brand
  • Develops and maintains systems and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance in the management of vendor relationships to include backend onboarding and payments for external partners
  • Engages with stakeholders across all brands to develop and fulfill content, collateral and campaign assets ensuring effective campaign delivery in alignment with brand strategy and objectives
  • Manages materials through legal and regulatory review process as required. Manages action items identified during MAP meetings
  • Supports the effort to lead the internal team and agency partners in the execution of the peer-to-peer program strategy. Collaborates cross functionally to operationalize new processes.
  • Evaluates and implements processes and procedures in an effort to increase project speed in full compliance with applicable, rules, regulations, and Xeris policies
  • Manages project management tool for adoption across the marketing team to assist in creating campaign visibility and communication across the marketing organization
  • Maintains the HCP and patient engagement budget and vendors through the oversight of line items, reporting on cost savings, analyzing ROI, and communicating areas for growth
  • Partners with key stakeholders in the Commercial Operations organization to help ensure data accuracy, integrity, and privacy
  • Collaborates with MAP Coordinator and internal team to identify and implement optimizations as needed in Veeva PromoMats
  • Leads the management and maintenance of marketing contracts and purchase orders for areas of responsibility to ensure contracts are reviewed by cross-functional teams and fully executed in a timely manner while actively keeping project owners updated throughout the length of the project
  • Manages the end-to-end process for print marketing collateral to include the overall management of external partners, budget management, inventory management & maintenance, fulfillment site monitoring & optimization, sales rep orders, etc. Oversees approved pieces going to print to include print proof, quantity, and the coordination of drop shipment to reps
  • Lead/participate in additional projects and tasks as assigned


Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or other relevant field of study, Master's degree in
  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing or sales experience, preferably in a related industry such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, finance, or education
  • 2-3 years of experience in an operations role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a great deal of autonomy
  • Understanding of FDA regulations and guidance regarding advertising and promotion of highly regulated products or services
  • Strong proficiency with Veeva, Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis in Excel, and project management tools
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues, managers, stakeholders, and vendors
  • Ability to plan and organize work and self to achieve objectives and targets; accountable for the delivery of outcomes; strives to meet and exceed expectations

Working Conditions
  • Position may require periodic evening and weekend work, as necessary to fulfill obligations. Periodic overnight travel - approximately 25% anticipated.
  • This is a hybrid role based in Xeris' Chicago office and requires a minimum of three days per week in the office. On-site requirement may change at management's discretion.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $96,000 - $128,000

The level of the position will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience. Final determination of the actual base salary offered depends on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skills, experience, education, location, and business needs. Employees are eligible for equity or long-term incentive awards, where applicable. Field Sales role employees are eligible for a quarterly commission structure. Non-Sales role employees are eligible for an annual bonus. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes additional elements such as paid time off benefits, various health, vision, and dental insurance options, 401(k) retirement benefits and more for eligible employees.
