ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Associate Manager, Global Program Management, you will support the design and execution of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality programs across all Business Unit's in the North America manufacturing network. In this role, you will contribute to consistent application of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality priorities across sites, regions, and business units. You will facilitate the prioritization of projects, track financial performance, and coordinating cross-functional alignment to deliver approved scope, cost, and schedule commitments. You may lead individual projects or workstreams and provide day-to-day coordination across North America, reinforcing common project management, risk management, and corrective actions governance practices to drive execution discipline and transparency.

Operating within a complex, compliance-driven environment, you will be required to have strong technical and project management capability, effective stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities. Success is defined by proactive program support, disciplined execution, and consistent delivery of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality outcomes aligned to enterprise standards and business objectives

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support execution of North America SHE/Q programs using standardized PMO methodologies to drive disciplined delivery and consistent outcomes.
  • Track, monitor, and communicate project performance, milestones, and business readiness; escalate risks and issues to sponsors and key stakeholders as needed.
  • Identify project risks, improvement opportunities, and support development of mitigation plans to protect scope, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
  • Partner with project teams and stakeholders to support governance processes, including status updates, readiness reviews, and deliverable tracking.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for new tools, supporting implementation, and participating in ideation and innovation initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal functions, external partners, and third parties to support project delivery and evaluate opportunities that drive business value.
  • Collaborate with peers and global counterparts to share knowledge and support adoption of best practices, designs, and methodologies.
  • Support initiatives that reduce complexity and enhance value delivery while reinforcing a culture of accountability, learning, integrity, and teamwork.
  • Contribute to improving the SCJ Engineering toolbox and skill development across the Global Engineering community.
  • Partner with Procurement and Technical functions (both Global & Regional) to evaluate potential supplier capabilities in terms of manufacturing processes, equipment and people skills.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering; or any relevant degree
  • 5+ years of Manufacturing/Technical experience with robust understanding of manufacturing operations technologies, capabilities and process limitations.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
  • Previous experience in CPG or Pharmaceutical Companies, across both internal plant engineering teams and in Contract Manufacturing management / support.
  • Project management and/or process improvement skills proven success
  • Excellent communication, leadership skills, and strong team player
  • Knowledge of Safety Standards
  • Knowledge of Quality Standards
  • Ability to deal with complexity and manage ambiguity
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills


JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Approximately 25% travel required
  • Remote work available once a week after 90-day onboarding period.
