Full Job Description
Position Title: Associate M&A Attorney

Salary Range: $140,000-$170,000 / Year, DOE

Step into a sophisticated M&A practice where you can work on meaningful transactions, learn directly from experienced attorneys, and build toward partnership. This Associate M&A Attorney will support complex transactional and corporate matters, advising clients throughout the deal lifecycle while preparing and reviewing transaction documents, schedules, and data rooms. The firm handles approximately $500 million to $1 billion in transactions annually, giving associates exposure to significant, high-value work. The ideal candidate is a sharp, detail-driven M&A attorney who takes ownership, anticipates what comes next, and can independently manage competing priorities while delivering polished work.

Responsibilities
  • Support M&A and transactional matters from due diligence through closing and post-closing requirements
  • Prepare, review, and organize transaction documents, disclosure schedules, and data rooms
  • Advise clients throughout M&A transactions and provide responsive support as matters progress
  • Draft, review and proofread corporate and transactional documents with exceptional attention to detail
  • Communicate directly with clients, proactively follow up on outstanding matters and keep transactions moving forward
  • Assist with year-end reporting, corporate filings and other ongoing client requirements
  • Collaborate with transactional partners and attorneys across the firm on sophisticated business matters

Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant M&A experience, including transactional work, preparation and review of schedules, and management of data rooms
  • Active Nevada Bar membership
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong proofreading, organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs, prioritize effectively, and work independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the professionalism to work directly with clients and colleagues
  • Strong academic credentials preferred, including high class ranking from a nationally recognized law school or distinguished academic performance from a local law school
