DescriptionMust have at least 2-3 years of litigation experience to be considered for this position. We are seeking an associate attorney with 2-3+ years of litigation experience who can take ownership of cases and contribute meaningfully with minimal ramp-up time. Personal injury experience is preferred.
While personal injury experience is strongly preferred, we are open to candidates with solid previous litigation experience in other practice areas who are familiar with the litigation process and can quickly learn and adapt.
This is not an entry-level role. We are seeking an attorney who can step in, take ownership of cases, and operate independently in a hands-on environment.
You will work on both plaintiff and defense matters, offering a well-rounded litigation experience, and will work directly with the managing attorney in a small firm setting.
This is a full-time position, 5 days a week, and an in-person job at the Kew Gardens, Queens office. Compensation: This position offers a base salary of $110,000-$130,000, commensurate with experience, plus performance-based incentives tied to settled cases, case outcomes, and overall contribution.

Responsibilities• Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation
• Draft, review, and analyze legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and memoranda of law
• Conduct legal research, case analysis, and develop a case strategy and theory
• Review and analyze discovery, including identifying key facts and issues
• Manage case files and maintain the organization of litigation materials
• Appear in court for conferences, hearings, and motion arguments
• Participate in settlement conferences and status hearings
• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, medical providers, and third parties
• Conduct and defend depositions (based on experience)
