About this roleWhat team will you be on?You will be part of BlackRock's Portfolio Compliance Group (PCG), a global team within Global Accounting and Product Services (GAAPS). The team ensures portfolios adhere to regulatory requirements and client-defined investment guidelines through robust controls and processes.
Why is your role important?As part of the Implementations team, you will play a key role in translating client investment guidelines into system-enforced compliance rules. Your work helps ensure portfolios are managed in line with client expectations and regulatory obligations, supporting BlackRock's broader mission to improve financial well-being.
What will you be doing?- Analyzing client investment guidelines and converting them into compliance rules
- Supporting new account onboarding through accurate rule implementation
- Updating compliance rules based on changes in client requirements
- Troubleshooting system or coding issues and identifying root causes
- Maintaining restricted lists and compliance controls
- Enhancing existing rules and contributing to system improvements
- Collaborating with internal partners across functions and regions
- Participating in strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
What are we looking for?- Experience in asset management, compliance, or financial services
- Knowledge of financial instruments and markets preferred
- Familiarity with programming or database concepts (e.g., SQL) is a plus
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Comfort working across global teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$100,000.00 - USD$130,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
