Job Description:

As the premier provider of Space Domain Awareness (SDA) mission solutions for the United States Space Force, L3Harris is seeking a mid-level Integration and Test Engineer to perform Software Systems Integration and System Test functions related to the MOSSAIC C2 Space Domain Awareness (SDA) mission. The ideal candidate will have experience in Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) activities such as Requirements Development/Derivation, Test Documentation (Plans, Procedures, Reports), Test Execution, System Troubleshooting, and Defect Tracking/Resolution.

Essential Functions:

  • Execute and assist in developing detailed test plans, procedures and cases based on system requirements.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track defects through resolution.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software performance/functionality meets the high standards required for L3Harris operations.
  • Communicate with government customers to validate requirements and clarify L3Harris engineering processes.
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Software Engineers and senior Integration & Test Engineers to identify system requirements for Validation & Verification, ensuring stakeholder needs are met.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, test methodology and potential problems.
  • Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes in collaboration with the development and test teams.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including System Models based in SysML.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of the Test Automation suite.


Qualifications:

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field or have completed their Bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active U.S. DoW TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Active Security+ CE certification
  • Basic knowledge of the Space Domain Awareness enterprise and engineering efforts.
  • Familiarity with MBSE/MBT/SysML
  • Familiarity with Eggplant or similar testing tools
  • Familiarity with Jira/Confluence (or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework & DevSecOps methodology
  • Familiarity withJava and C++ application software
  • Proficiency in Linux


In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $59,000.00 - $110,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
