Placement Representative – Transportation Industry

Marsh is seeking aPlacement Representativeto support our Transportation industry practice. We will count on you to:

• Support and lead placement and advisory efforts on a diverse portfolio of client accounts.
• Develop and execute renewal and placement strategies in collaboration with Placement Leaders and Client Executives, aligned with client goals.
• Complete coverage reviews and negotiate terms with underwriters to ensure alignment with client needs.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely follow-up of all placement activities within internal systems.
• Submit coverage specifications, manage policy follow-up, and support policy administration
• Accurately input placement data into client presentations.
• Review policy language and support first-check policy review to help ensure accuracy and completeness

• Enter placement data into client presentations and internal reporting tools
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, underwriters, and market contacts
• Monitor market and regulatory developments that may affect transportation clients
• Collaborate with Marsh teams across the U.S. and globally to deliver integrated client solutions
• Support team initiatives and special projects as needed

What you Need to Have:

• College degree
• 4+ years of relevant commercial lines insurance experience in a support capacity
• Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and multi-taskingskills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one anchor day per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000

The applicable base salary range for this role is $72,500 to $154,300.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
