Our HR Business Partners (HRBPs) embody our values, understand how our culture comes to life, and possess deep knowledge of the business. They deliver HR services to internal client groups to drive exceptional performance. As an Associate HRBP, you will support senior HRBPs across Americas Client Business, Global Product Solutions, and Financial and Strategic Investors Group and contribute to both business-specific and firm-wide talent initiatives.
What you'll do: HR Business Partner Support - Develop executive-ready deliverables-including HR strategy and operating model presentations-tailored for senior leaders using PowerPoint and Excel
- Lead end-to-end project management of talent initiatives across the portfolio, coordinating agendas, communications, and materials for internal HR and senior stakeholder meetings
- Partner with managers to identify high-potential talent and support performance management
- Help build and execute employee engagement initiatives
- Build relationships across HR and the business to understand organizational structure, culture, and leadership
- Act as a liaison with other HR teams (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Employee Relations) to execute business priorities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on HR tools, processes, and policies
Data & Analytics: - Support analytics requests involving headcount, attrition, promotions, performance, and other key HR metrics
- Identify and surface trends in qualitative and quantitative data to support decision-making and tie insights back to business priorities
- Leverage AI and Microsoft 365 tools, including Copilot, to streamline processes, synthesize information, and create client-ready materials that improve efficiency and enhance the quality of HR deliverables
- Partner with HR teams to report and analyze data from Workday and other systems
Talent & Culture: - Support annual talent management processes and initiatives related to organizational design, employee relations, and leadership development
- Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and partner with HRBPs to implement innovative and technology driven solutions
What you'll bring: - At least 3 years of experience in HR, consulting, or similar roles in a global, fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and project management skills with high attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Workday experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to use HR data and analytics to generate insights and tailor findings to different audiences
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- A proactive mindset with enthusiasm for sharing ideas and solving problems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt messaging to various audiences
- High empathy and a strong business orientation
- A highly motivated, energizing attitude and a commitment to continuous learning
For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$105,000.00 - USD$135,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
