Netflix is looking for experienced finance professionals to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role will be the primary point person to support senior management in all budgeting and forecasting-related areas. Senior leadership depends heavily on our FP&A groups to accurately model and forecast the business as well as to lead the strategic analysis that is used to inform important business decisions.

Depending on business needs and candidate background, you’ll be aligned to one of the roles within the FP&A organization with the future opportunity to rotate across business functions as openings become available.
Responsibilities
• Supporting near-term and long-term P&L and/or free cash flow forecast
• Developing insightful presentations that summarize this data and facilitate decision-making for senior Netflix management
• Performing financial scenario analysis to support senior management's strategic decision making
• Netflix is fast-growing with a flat organizational structure, which means that employees are often asked to perform tasks with a range of difficulties. Candidates must be motivated, disciplined, and able to work effectively autonomously.
Requirements
• 3–6 years of direct FP&A experience with a proven track record in financial and strategic analysis, including developing and delivering actionable recommendations
• Highly analytical with excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrates initiative and thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Superior proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, with expertise in building and managing complex financial models
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, with strong knowledge of accounting and the highest standards of integrity and ethics.
More technical roles within the FP&A organization may also require the following:
• Proficiency in designing, developing, maintaining interactive Tableau dashboards and/or BI tools (e.g. Looker), and ensuring data accuracy and consistency through strong quality controls
• Collaboration with data owners to ensure seamless, accurate access and extraction of financial data and drive automation and reporting solutions to enable decision making (e.g. actionable insights based on financial performance, trends and drivers)
• Proficiency / hands-on experience of data-oriented programming languages (e.g. SQL) and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements for our data science partners
• Strong understanding of data architecture and the ability to effectively connect to, manage, and extract relevant data from various financial systems and databases
Due to the nature and scope of this role, we will need to run a background check prior to starting with us.
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $155,000.00 - $225,000.00.
