Role Overview

Trajan Wealth is seeking a motivated and client-focused Associate Family Office Fiduciary Advisor to support the ongoing management and growth of an established client base. This role is ideal for a licensed financial professional who is passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals while building a long-term career in wealth management.

As an Associate Family Office Fiduciary Advisor, you will serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, helping deliver an exceptional service experience while supporting investment, retirement, estate, and tax planning conversations. Working closely with Senior Advisors, Portfolio Management, Client Services, and Planning Specialists, you will play a key role in deepening client relationships and coordinating comprehensive family office solutions.

This position is based 100% onsite at our Scottsdale corporate headquarters.

Duties and responsibilities

Client Relationship Management
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with an established book of clients through proactive communication and ongoing service.
  • Conduct virtual, phone, and in-person meetings with clients to address questions, provide updates, and identify evolving needs.
  • Perform regular review meetings and periodic check-in calls to ensure client satisfaction and engagement.
  • Deliver a high-touch, fiduciary-focused client experience that builds trust and long-term loyalty.

Client Onboarding & Service
  • Introduce new clients to the advisory and portfolio management process.
  • Partner with Client Services to facilitate account opening, funding, and asset transfers.
  • Assist clients with account setup and provide training on the client portal and available resources.
  • Keep clients informed throughout onboarding and transfer processes to ensure a seamless experience.

Financial Planning Support
  • Assist in retirement planning conversations and implementation strategies.
  • Identify estate planning opportunities and coordinate introductions to estate planning attorneys.
  • Recognize tax-planning opportunities and facilitate collaboration with tax professionals as appropriate.
  • Help uncover held-away assets and opportunities for asset consolidation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure clients receive comprehensive wealth management solutions.
  • Introduce clients to specialized services and subject matter experts when appropriate.
  • Support advisors and planning professionals in delivering integrated financial strategies.
  • Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Positive, proactive, and client-first mindset.

Preferred
  • Previous experience in wealth management, financial services, retirement planning, or investment advisory services.
  • Experience working directly with clients in a financial advisory environment.
  • Interest in pursuing advanced industry credentials such as CFP®, CIMA®, CFA®, or CPA.
