Associate Engagement Manager - Manufacturing Sector
Infosys's Manufacturing Unit is seeking an Associate Manager of Client Services. The Associate Manager-Client Services (AMCS) will lead all client interfaces within the assigned account scope and, in partnership with the Manager (Manager-Client Services/Senior Manager-Client Services), will co-develop and execute the account plan to drive growth and client value. The AMCS typically manages a single account or a sub-portfolio within a large account, with an indicative annual book of business of approximately $10-$30 million. This role will focus on helping manufacturing clients accelerate digital transformation, modernize core operations, adopt AI-led and data-driven solutions, and create measurable business impact across the manufacturing value chain.

Role Description:
• Client relationship management and business development: lead client relationships, build a portfolio up to $10-30M, lead the opportunity management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close, with a focus on driving consultative, outcome-based conversations across manufacturing, supply chain, operations, engineering, and technology stakeholders.
• Client delivery assurance: collaborate with all delivery partners involved to ensure fulfillment of all commitments to the client and proactively identify opportunities to improve client value, delivery quality, and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Delivery Manager to address all people or infrastructure related issues that may be affecting the delivery of the project vis-à-vis the specific client.
• Balance different projects running for the client that may involve different delivery managers or horizontal unit resources, ensuring alignment across business priorities, transformation objectives, and client expectations.
• Take go-to-market solutions to accounts and drive revenue from go-to-market solutions being sponsored by the business unit, including digital manufacturing, smart factory, Industry 4.0, cloud, data, AI, automation, connected products, sustainability, and IT-OT transformation solutions.
• Work closely with the Solutions Leader to build customized solutions pitches for the target account and driving the revenues and delivery of these solutions, tailored to the client's manufacturing landscape, business priorities, and transformation roadmap.
• Account planning and governance: build the account plan including relationships required, opportunities to be pursued, price decisions, etc.
• Craft account plan with details of the relationships required, the opportunities that have to be chased, and forecasting the potential revenue yield from such opportunities, as well as potential threats and weaknesses that need to be addressed. The account plan should also reflect whitespace analysis, competitive positioning, pipeline health, deal strategy, and executive relationship coverage.
• Make pricing decisions within the scope of the Master Services Agreement, while balancing competitiveness, margin expectations, and long-term account growth potential.
• Support pre-sales proposals for new business development outside of account scope.
• Provide vital input for building future alliances with relevant product vendors, ecosystem partners, hyperscalers, and manufacturing technology platforms.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education and 7+ years of experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience
• Significant business development and project management experience, with demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and drive revenue growth in a services-led environment
• Experience in the relevant industry/vertical, preferably within manufacturing, industrials, automotive, aerospace, chemicals, energy, or related sectors
• Track record of interacting and building relationships with CXO level client contacts, business leaders, technology leaders, and transformation stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations, including solution positioning, commercial discussions, and executive-level client presentations
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience, including digital transformation, application services, cloud, data, AI, automation, infrastructure, engineering, or enterprise platform-led engagements
• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of industry specific go-to-market solutions, including smart manufacturing, connected operations, supply chain transformation, digital engineering, cloud transformation, AI-led automation, and IT-OT integration
• Good understanding of industry specific business issues and drivers, including cost optimization, operational efficiency, product innovation, supply chain resilience, sustainability, margin pressure, and modernization of legacy technology landscapes
• Global Delivery Model experience
• Experience managing large multi-location consulting engagement teams
• Track record as an Account Manager in a rapidly growing client relationship, with ability to identify whitespace, shape opportunities, influence stakeholders, and convert strategic priorities into qualified pipeline and revenue
• Experience working with partner ecosystems, including cloud providers, enterprise platforms, manufacturing technology providers, and digital transformation partners
• Ability to position AI, data, automation, cloud, and digital engineering solutions in a manufacturing business context

The Compensation Range for this Role is between $100,000 to $187,000 p.a.
