Full Job Description

The Site Engagement Leadis responsible forbuilding and expanding a new clinical site ecosystem for GSK, with a primary focus on Respiratory and secondary focus on Hepatology. This role willidentify, engage, and develop relationships with sites that are new to GSK as well as sites that are new to clinical research.

The role integrates data-driven insights (including payer, prescription, epidemiology, and real-world data) with field-based engagement toidentifypatient-rich geographies, generate research interest, andestablishlong-term partnerships. The Site Engagement Lead serves as a key interface between GSK and external sites, enabling a broader, more diverse, and future-ready network to support clinical trial delivery and portfolio execution.

This role willprovideYOUthe opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Identify, prioritize, and develop new clinical research sites, including those not currently engaged with GSK and research-nave sites with high patient potential.

  • Build and expand a fit-for-purpose site ecosystem across Respiratory and Hepatology, including academic institutions, community practices, health systems, and emerging care models.

  • Establish andmaintainstrong, trusted relationships with investigators, site leadership, and research staff to position GSK as a preferred research partner.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Medical Affairs, Commercial, Data & Analytics, Feasibility) toleveragepayer, prescription, epidemiology, and real-world data toidentifywhere patients arelocatedand proactively generate research interest in targeted geographies and sites.

  • Translate data insights into actionable site engagement strategies,identifyingwhite space opportunities and underserved regions for site expansion.

  • Develop and execute targeted outreach and onboarding strategies to support new sites entering the GSK research ecosystem.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure coordinated, one GSK engagement with sites and to reduce duplication and improve site experience.

  • Support site segmentation and archetyping efforts to inform strategic investment and resource allocation.

  • Enable site readiness by guiding new-to-research or early-stage sites through clinical trial requirements, processes, and expectations.

  • Provideongoing insightstoleadership regarding site landscape trends, partnership opportunities, and risks to delivery.

  • Contribute todevelopmentof scalable engagement models, playbooks, and partnership frameworks to support long-term growth of the site network.

  • Promoteadoptionof innovative approaches and digital solutions to enhance site experience and operational efficiency.

Preferred Experience

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Ability to travel up to50% (Domestic)

  • Experience in respiratory and/or hepatology.

  • Experience working cross-functionally in a matrix environment

  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage external relationships with clinical sites or healthcare providers

Success Metrics

  • Expansion of new-to-GSK and new-to-research sites within the ecosystem

  • Identification and activation of sites in high patient-density geographies

  • Increased research interest and engagement in targeted regions

  • Strength and sustainability of external site partnerships

The US annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $129,750 to $216,250. The US salary ranges take into account a number of factors including work location within the US market, the candidates skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role. Available benefits include health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
