Reporting into the Director, AI Learning & Leadership Programs, this role is accountable for leading day-to-day strategy, deployment, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement of TORCH as a US Commercial leadership program that builds transformation leadership, enterprise mindset, and capability to lead AI-enabled change. The Associate Director, TORCH Program Lead is responsible for owning the TORCH roadmap, cohort planning, curriculum deployment, facilitator/vendor coordination, leader engagement, measurement, and integration with broader AI and transformation capability priorities.
This position will be located at East Hanover, NJ and will not have the ability to be located remotely. This position will require up to 20% travel as defined by the business (domestic and/or international).
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:- Translate TORCH objectives into annual roadmap, cohorts, learning journeys, leadership experiences, and reinforcement model.
- Partner with P&O and business leaders to ensure program content addresses current leadership challenges, transformation expectations, and enterprise priorities.
- Manage program operations including participant selection support, calendar, communications, facilitator coordination, materials, and feedback loops.
- Measure program effectiveness through participation, capability lift, application, leader feedback, and business-relevant outcomes.
- Continuously improve TORCH by integrating AI-enabled leadership, systems thinking, change leadership, and future-of-work content.
Essential Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in business, organizational development, learning, healthcare, digital, or related field; an advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) is preferred.
- 7+ years in leadership development, talent management, learning program management, organizational development, commercial capability, or transformation.
- Experience managing leadership programs or cohort-based learning in a complex organization.
- Strong program management, facilitation, vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and measurement skills.
Desirable Requirements:- Experience in P&O, leadership development, executive education, pharma commercial, or enterprise transformation.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled work, change leadership, coaching, and behavioral reinforcement methods.
Novartis Compensation Summary:The salary for this position is expected to range between $152,600 and $283,400 per year.
The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
