Systems & Technology Integration Lead in New York.
You will provide subject matter expertise and support to the clients Construction & Development (C&D) Program Executive and assisting in implementing a centralized monitoring strategy and other operational readiness initiatives.
Key Accountabilities - Lead the integration of all technical systems supporting centralized monitoring operations.
- Ensure systems engineering best practices are applied across design, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Define and manage system architectures, interfaces, and data flows across operational and enterprise systems.
- Oversee integration of the Network Management System (NMS), field systems, and centralized remote condition monitoring platforms.
- Ensure asset and performance analytics, diagnostics, and monitoring tools are being correctly used by the client.
- Bridge engineering, IT, operations, and maintenance stakeholders from a technology integration perspective.
- Support end - to - end lifecycle management of systems, from design and delivery through operations and sustainment.
- Coordinate technical dependencies across CBTC, communications, signaling, IT infrastructure, and control centres.
- Support technical governance, standards development, and configuration management.
- Validate system interoperability, scalability, cybersecurity, and resiliency requirements.
- Support definition and execution of system testing, commissioning, and operational acceptance activities.
- Translate operational needs into technical requirements and ensure alignment during implementation.
- Identify and mitigate technical integration risks impacting operational readiness.
- Support vendor and system integrator coordination and technical issue resolution.
- Develop and support technical transition and handover plans from delivery teams to operations and maintenance.
- Support development of technical documentation, workflows, and training inputs for operational users.
- Monitor system performance post - deployment and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience, skills, knowledge and competencies - A bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, or related field - advanced degree in a related field, preferred. In lieu of a bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, or related field;.
- Significant experience working with on-board train control systems, wayside signaling systems, intelligent infrastructure, network management systems, remote condition monitoring systems, event logging, or CBTC systems.
- Substantial experience coordinating services of technical experts, managing engineering entities and overseeing operation and maintenance organization.
- Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-profile, high-pressure environment effectively.
- Leadership skills as a change agent and strategic/creative/innovative thinker with the ability to align business goals with solutions to drive process improvements
- Strong team building, listening, problem solving, and prioritization skills.
- Experience with CBTC or with highly complex systems, preferred.
