Purpose and Scope

The Associate Director Supply Chain Analytics is responsible for defining and executing the roadmap for advanced analytics within the global supply chain. The role will transform raw data into actionable insights that optimize inventory, logistics, procurement, and manufacturing operations. This role will lead the transformation from reporting on past performance to deploying predictive and prescriptive analytics that guide future decisions and outcomes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the supply chain analytics strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities, operational objectives, cost optimization, service performance, and long-range supply chain transformation goals.
  • Lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of executive KPI reporting, dashboards, and performance management routines to provide timely visibility to critical supply chain metrics, risks, trends, and opportunities.
  • Translate complex data from supply, demand, inventory, customer service, logistics, procurement, and financial systems into actionable insights that inform business decisions and improve end-to-end supply chain performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support S&OP, IBP, and related planning processes by synthesizing market, demand, supply, inventory, and financial inputs into an integrated business perspective.
  • Lead analytics support for scenario planning, "what-if" modeling, constraint analysis, and reconciliation of demand, supply, inventory, and financial plans to enable informed trade-off decisions.
  • Support the implementation, optimization, and adoption of supply chain planning systems, reporting tools, and data platforms; define business requirements, validate outputs, and drive user adoption across the organization.
  • Identify and advance opportunities to leverage advanced analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to improve forecasting, planning accuracy, exception management, risk visibility, and supply chain resilience.
  • Establish data governance practices and reporting standards to improve data quality, consistency, transparency, and confidence in supply chain decision-making.
  • Facilitate performance review discussions and analytics forums that convert insights into clear action plans, ownership, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Provide analytical leadership, coaching, and direction to team members and business partners, building organizational capability in data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes to include demand planning, supply and inventory planning, portfolio planning and integrated planning concepts, principles and processes.
  • Command of IT systems, specifically supply chain planning solutions and ERP platforms.
  • An in-depth understanding of planning processes: demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, integrated business planning (IBP), product portfolio planning, new products introduction, material requirements planning (MRP) and S&OP process
  • Proficiency in MS Office Programs (Excel, Access, Word, Project) and Power BI with advanced skills preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining focus on individual tasks.
  • Ability to build teams and support talent development of team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to resolve conflicts and foster cooperation among teams and individuals.
  • Ability to translate complex supply chain planning needs into use-case models.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and planning abilities.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to a variety of changing situations under pressure.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Financial acumen and working knowledge of financial planning.
  • Practical knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma.
  • Insight and experience in systems and supply chain planning tools related to planning processes, and ability to process and present data findings.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Operations Research or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • Eight or more years of experience in Supply Chain operations with a focus on analysis, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Three or more years of previous experience supervising others required.

Working Conditions
  • Typical office environment working conditions.
  • This position is primarily on-site, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.
  • This position will be located either in Windsor, Colorado or in Chicago, Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay: $170,000 - $180,000 depending on experience
