- Experience across both group and leisure sales segments; you understand the distinct rhythms, buyers, and strategies each requires.
- Strong relationship-building skills; you're equally comfortable with a corporate meeting planner, a wedding client, and a golf group coordinator.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; your proposals, contracts, and client correspondence reflect the caliber of the property you represent.
- Proficiency in hotel sales CRM systems (Delphi, Salesforce, or similar) and Microsoft Office.
- A competitive, self-motivated mindset with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with contract negotiation, revenue management concepts, and group pricing strategy.
- A collaborative leadership style; you elevate the people around you, not just your own numbers.
- A valid driver's license with a clean record; travel for sales calls, trade shows, and client visits may be required.
- This position may be remote, with the understanding that client and sales team needs come first. On-property presence is expected approximately 2-3 days per week, with flexibility for more or less time based on business needs, client expectations, and team support.
