The Associate Director of Marketing for the Indiana Pacers will report directly to the Associate Vice President of Marketing and assist in driving the marketing vision and execution plan for the Indiana Pacers and Noblesville Boom. ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives for the Indiana Pacers, taking direction and strategy from the Associate Vice President of Marketing and driving projects from concept through final delivery, including campaign rollout, creative coordination, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Lead the majority of day-to-day marketing execution for the Noblesville Boom, the Indiana Pacers' official G-League affiliate, including branding initiatives, promotional campaigns, fan engagement activities, and game-day experiences.
  • Support the ideation, development, and execution of brand campaigns and player marketing.
  • Work closely with the Creative Services team and external agencies to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging throughout the season.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal departments including Ticket Sales, Facilities, Corporate Partnerships, Digital/Social, Community & Public Relations, Broadcast, Basketball Operations, Player Relations, and In-Game Entertainment.
  • Help establish and champion brand stories across all campaigns and materials.
  • Oversee the development and execution of B2B and B2C marketing collateral and advertising creative, including TV, radio, out-of-home, print, digital, and social media advertising.
  • Support the paid media strategy, ensuring proper segmentation and channel placement.
  • Assist in evaluating the performance of all B2B and B2C marketing activities to maximize conversions, revenue, and return on investment, assessing against goals and benchmarks.
  • Contribute to the thought leadership and flawless execution of branding throughout Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
  • Collaborate with the Fan Engagement team to develop programs within Gainbridge Fieldhouse and out in the market, including but not limited to concourse entertainment and Fan Van engagements.
  • Work with the Digital team to develop social media campaigns to promote the brand and increase ticket sales.
  • Partner closely with Ticket Sales to develop and execute theme nights, offers, and media to drive single game sales in addition to retention and renewal campaigns for season ticket holders.
  • Foster and maintain a proactive and collaborative culture within the marketing team.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years of relevant experience in marketing, advertising, and/or brand management roles. At least two years must be in a management role.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Business or Public Relations. Master's degree a plus.
  • Sports marketing experience, especially in a team role, is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the NBA, basketball, and the surrounding culture is highly preferred.
  • Media planning experience is a plus.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to handle projects from brief through execution.
  • Experience successfully directing brand, marketing, and general demand generation programs.
  • Demonstrated successful management and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to comprehend customer segmentation and market research.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial with a hands-on approach towards business.
  • Ability to multi-task and work within tight deadlines.
