Full Job Description
Job Function: The Associate Director of Business Performance will be adept at rapid problem-solving, data visualization, and strategic analysis. This person will lead NCAA national office's project management, administration, and implementation function. In particular, the role will conduct analysis of priority initiatives and assist project managers in implementing their initiatives. The position will also conduct high-priority analysis to support emergent priorities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Apply business analytics for technical, operational, and financial analysis.
  • Lead NCAA's project implementation function, including administrating the Asana project management platform, producing guidance documents to aid the NCAA's 300 Asana users, and developing automated analysis tools to improve the national office's effectiveness.
  • Develop business cases, implementation plans, continuous improvement plans, and on-going project management support for key strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare executive briefings on key strategic initiatives and on-going business performance projects.
  • Lead problem-solving and solution design for emergent national office priorities.
  • Work directly with national office project managers to support their delivery of their department's priority projects and initiatives.
  • Consult with users on business needs, translate business needs into analytics/reporting requirements, and interface with users to ensure successful delivery of reporting.
  • Create and support the design of compelling and useful ad-hoc reports incorporating data visualization techniques as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Education Required: Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in management consulting, investment banking or corporate strategy preferred.
  • Expert familiarity with technology, PowerPoint, Excel, and Asana required.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology, project management and/or Lean techniques preferred.
