Overview

The Associate Director, Media Account Manager is a hybrid project manager and client services contributor, supporting the day-to-day operations of a complex media account. This role ensures flawless execution of media campaigns by coordinating across internal teams including: Client Services, Media, Search, Social, Programmatic, Creative, Ad Operations, and Data & Analytics, and managing operational processes such as billing, timelines, and deliverables.

Success in this role requires a blend of critical thinking, operational excellence, and client-facing finesse. You'll support the building of connective tissue between the client and cross-functional teams to drive collaboration, streamline delivery, and ensure campaigns meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the media campaign operations and project delivery.
  • Help to drive the entire process of media plan implementation from initiation to completion and analysis; ensuring achievements, deliverables, and budgets are met.
  • Facilitate communication across internal and external teams across media channels to maintain alignment on timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Support billing, budgeting, and tracking processes to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
  • Partner with strategy and media teams to interpret campaign performance and translate insights into actionable next steps.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement scalable solutions that enhance operational workflow.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and proactively addressing issues or opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in digital media, integrated marketing, project management, and/or account management.
  • Strong understanding of media planning, buying, and reporting fundamentals.
  • Strong collaboration and organizational skills are critical.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving client and business needs.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking ability.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with being flexible in an ever-changing environment.

Compensation Range: USD $97,375.00 - USD $133,300.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
