Job DescriptionAs an Associate Director, you will:
- Client facing delivery of cost assessments, reviews and assurance services as well as presentation of independent estimates, cost plans, benchmarks, and reconciliations.
- Lead the validation and challenge process of assigned contractor estimates, target price/cost, and commercial submissions, particularly within collaborative delivery models such as Progressive Design-Build (PDB) and CMAR/CMGC.
- Lead the estimating uncertainty and support as necessary the quantitative risk assessment processes as part of target cost validation, facilitate as required value engineering, cost optimization, and support informed decision-making and value-for-money outcomes.
- Provide strategic cost advice to clients throughout the project lifecycle, from business case and concept design through detailed design, procurement and delivery.
- Mentor and develop estimating professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support business development activities, including client engagement, proposal preparation, and market growth initiatives.
Qualifications- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in multibillion infrastructure estimating programs, cost management, or cost assurance, including leadership of major capital projects.
- Demonstrated expertise across transportation, aviation, transit, highways, utilities, or other large-scale complex infrastructure sectors.
- Strong understanding of collaborative and alternative delivery models, including PDB, CMAR and Design-Build.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
- Professional designation or membership (CIQS, RICS, AACE, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software, benchmarking tools, and risk-based estimating methodologies.

The base salary range for this full-time role is
$125,000 - $175,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
