The Associate Director of I4.0 Solution Deployment is responsible for the implementation, adoption, and scaling of enterprise-aligned Industry 4.0 digital solutions across RTX manufacturing sites. This role acts as the critical bridge between Business Units, Enterprise Services (ES), and site-level stakeholders to ensure solutions are designed effectively, tested thoroughly, deployed consistently, and adopted successfully. The Associate Director will lead deployment planning, user readiness, and support change management activities to maximize the value and impact of I4.0 digital capabilities across the enterprise.
What You Will Do:
Lead the implementation and adoption of enterprise-aligned I4.0 digital solutions across select sites or enterprise-wide deployments.
Gather business and technical requirements across Business Units to inform solution design.
Partner with Enterprise Services to support the build and configuration of digital solutions.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring system functionality meets defined requirements.
Coordinate pilot activities and manage structured rollout plans for broader deployment.
Plan and execute site engagement strategies, including leading onsite or virtual training sessions for users and champions.
Partner with the OpEx Program Manager on change management activities, including communication, stakeholder alignment, and readiness assessments.
Support the scaling of solutions to additional sites or Business Units as capabilities mature.
Track solution adoption, assess user satisfaction, and gather feedback to inform continuous improvement.
Develop and support executive communications, including updates, briefings, and deployment status reports.
Manage capacity and prioritization of deployment activities, recognizing variability based on the number of participating sites and scope of deployment.
This position may require occasional travel to various manufacturing sites.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
Experience within the Digital Technology, Operations or a related field.
Experience deploying digital or manufacturing technology solutions in a multi-site or enterprise environment.
Experience coordinating UAT, pilot testing, or system rollout activities.
Proven understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies and their application in a manufacturing environment Qualifications we prefer:
Experience in manufacturing operations, operational excellence, or digital transformation.
Knowledge of change management methodologies and adoption frameworks.
Ability to synthesize feedback and drive iterative improvements to digital solutions.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
