Full Job Description
The Associate Director, Eye Care Portfolio Marketing is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of integrated strategic marketing plans for key assets in the Eye Care portfolio including LOE brands, Interventional Glaucoma, etc. within Eye Care. The majority of focused efforts will include strategic planning on LOE brands to optimize key assets over the course of the brand lifecycle. This role drives brand and portfolio performance through disciplined market analysis, resource prioritization, and cross-functional leadership to achieve sales, profit, and long-term business objectives. This position partners closely with Commercial Leadership, Market Access, Finance, and broader Marketing teams to shape strategic direction, optimize channel execution, and support the continued success of the LOE brands and broader Eye Care portfolio. The Associate Director is accountable for developing and marketing strategies, supporting lifecycle planning, and ensuring alignment with overall Eye Care business priorities. Lead the development and execution of plans for key LOE brands. Partner with closely with Market Access, Finance, Sales, and key stakeholders to define and align on key Market Access and Pricing strategies as well as potential avenues to support growth of brands beyond LOE (including DTP, Rx to OTC strategies, etc.). Monitor market dynamics and competitive activity to identify risks and opportunities and translate insights into actionable strategies. Oversee resource allocation, budget management, and forecast planning to support business objectives and financial performance. Collaborate with Finance and Market Access to evaluate business cases, optimize investment decisions, and support prioritization across channels and brand initiatives. Manage agency, vendor, and external partner relationships to ensure effective execution and operational excellence. Build and sustain strong cross-functional and external relationships with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Finance, Medical, HEOR, Legal, Regulatory, APEX / Marketing Analytics and Compliance. Contribute to lifecycle planning and broader Eye Care portfolio strategy in support of long-term brand success. The role also leads key efforts for patient activation and brand with responsibility for strategy development, implementation, budget management, and ROI analysis. This individual will play a key role in advancing portfolio objectives through thoughtful planning, strong cross-functional influence, and effective agency and vendor management. Responsibilities - Collaborate with Marketing Director(s) and business leaders to build, manage and execute marketing plans to achieve business objectives and goals including patients', market and financial results. - Drive and participate in business and marketing plans process. - Demonstrates and utilizes holistic understanding of financial planning. - Lead and manage direct teams and external partnerships. - Influence business leaders and effectively collaborate cross-functionally to deliver business results. - Manage and monitor P&L of product responsibilities. - Grow brand/product penetration, share and awareness. - Develop next generation product and/or product enhancements & experiences, leveraging the patient journey. - Direct and manage projects including execution of marketing plans, initiatives and tasks. Qualifications Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA preferred - 7-9 years of experience in Marketing Access and / or Marketing (pharmaceutical experience preferred) - Minimum 3 years of product management experience in pharmaceuticals, market access preferred - Highly desired: Market access marketing experience - Experience with lifecycle management strongly preferred - Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing required - Knowledge of patient access, reimbursement, and verification of benefits preferred Essential Skills and Abilities - Deep understanding of market access and payer landscape - Deep understanding of marketing principles within the healthcare industry - Demonstrated ability to lead strategy in a complex, matrixed organization - Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen - Ability to influence cross-functional partners and external stakeholders - Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills, and decision-making skills, ability to simplify the complex. - Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation - Experience developing and executing integrated channel strategies - Strong problem-solving and organizational skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Ability to travel up to 35% Significant Work Activities - Continuous sitting for prolonged periods - Travel Additional Information Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: - The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of thisposting based on the job grade for this position.
