Associate Director, DevOps Engineering, IQVIA RDS Inc. Durham, NC. Devise and help teams implement DevOps strategies and methods throughout the development and deployment process for technical solutions. Lead DevOps teams, monitor project workflow, and ensure the finished product meets quality and reliability standards. Oversee the implementation, deployment, and integration of solutions, taking responsibility for successful delivery. Plan, build, configure, test solutions, maintain systems, analyze and approve new code, perform automation tasks and manage all aspects of solutions deployment and technical operations. Work with the services and technology teams to define and implement CI/CD best practices. Drive cloud and container strategy. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field or foreign equivalent. Requires five (5) years of Software Development or Cloud Engineering experience, to include five (5) years: DevOps experience; Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Shell Scripting, AWS, Azure, and DataDog; utilizing knowledge of Shell Scripting & Python; tailoring technical problem descriptions and root cause analysis statements to various audiences (customer support, end customers and development teams); assisting and directing troubleshooting for Field escalations; AWS, Azure, React, Java, and Postgres database; four (4) years: Kubernetes and Docker; building and implementing CI/CD pipelines; and one (1) year: managing software engineering teams.
