Digital is the multiplier that will allow Development Sciences and Clinical Supply (DSCS) to deliver better experiments faster, efficient filing and launch, more robust supply chains and higher-confidence decisions across the portfolio. The DSCS Digital Technologies (DDT) organization is tasked with the mission to pioneer and deploy innovative digital technologies that drive the acquisition, automation and utilization of data to enhance insights, efficiency, and quality of DSCS processes and methods.
The DDT Communications Lead role is responsible for driving effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and adoption of digital initiatives across Development Sciences & Clinical Supply Digital Technologies (DDT). This role partners with functional leaders, program teams, and varied stakeholder groups to ensure consistent messaging, structured change management, and sustained adoption of digital tools, platforms, and processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Communications Strategy & Execution
Develop, maintain and execute integrated communication plans for DDT initiatives
Create clear, audience-tailored messaging for leadership and end users
Establish and maintain communication channels and cadence across DDT
Align communications with broader DSCS and enterprise messaging
2. Change Management & Adoption
Support the design and implementation of structured change management plans aligned with DDT governance
Partner with program teams to Drive awareness, understanding, and adoption of digital tools and use cases
Embed change best practices into communication approaches
3. Content Development & Enablement
Translate complex digital concepts into clear, business-relevant messaging
Develop leadership-ready materials (e.g., talking points, presentations, email communications)
Create reusable templates and communication toolkits to enable scale and consistency
Ensure content reflects DDT operating model and strategic priorities
Manage internal communication channels (e.g., email, SharePoint, leadership forums)
Coordinate delivery of campaigns, updates, and key milestones
4. Measurement & Continuous Improvement
Define and track communication effectiveness (e.g., reach, engagement, adoption indicators)
Gather stakeholder feedback and continuously improve communication approaches
Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on communication effectiveness
Qualifications & Experience Required
Bachelor's degree with 5-10+ years of experience within the pharmaceuticals/biotech industry
Experience in communications, change management, or digital transformation support
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor messaging for different audiences
Experience supporting enterprise tools or digital platforms (e.g., Power BI, project tools, collaboration platforms)
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and planning skills
Preferred
Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environments
Familiarity with change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR)
Experience supporting digital adoption or transformation programs
Skilled in PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Power BI for content creation and reporting

The salary range for this role is
$129,000.00 - $203,100.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
