Associate Director, Contracts (Remote)What You Will Do: - Lead, train, guide and develop a team of Contracts professionals and/or managers in a variety of areas:
- Negotiation strategy
- Terms and Conditions
- Contractual and Business Change management
- Proposal management
- Risk mitigation and business management
- Audit support
- Letter writing
- Contract fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Requirement interpretation and flowdown
- Provide performance feedback and employee support to team members on a regular basis in accordance with company and functional expectations.
- Develop process improvement to enhance functional performance.
- Establish relationships with internal and external customers.
- Manage financial and operational impacts to the Business Unit.
- Model and mentor in the areas of business judgement, strategic vision, forward thinking, critical thinking, collaboration, problem solving, and other intangible business skills required for successful business support.
- Provide guidance to senior management regarding contractual and business issues.
- Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFP)
- Conduct proposal reviews and coordinate customer responses.
- Interpret and draft Contract language.
- Negotiate contracts.
- Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies and if not communicate differences and mitigate risks.
- Support program management and execution reviews.
- Work closely with the General Managers and Business Development on strategy for competitive pursuits, including development Intellectual Property and investment strategy.
- Support Military Aftermarket for their associated Programs by:
- Cross functional collaboration
- Providing negotiation strategy guidance
- Leading or Supporting customer negotiations, as needed
- Providing sound contractual recommendations
Qualifications You Must Have: - Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
- Government contracting experience

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
