Overview

The Associate Director, Content Partnerships will create synergy amongst internal teams, external partners, and client stakeholders to carry out best-in-class, cutting-edge campaigns involving custom linear, digital and social content, experiential activations, influencers, in-show brand/product integrations, and more. This leadership position will be expected to utilize knowledge of media strategy, planning, and implementation tactics within the media vendor landscape to plan, develop, and execute top-tier content partnerships, leveraging the best investment options possible.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships amongst clients and internal and external partners, as well as agency experience in working with media planning and investment teams, in-depth experience within video/digital media, and the ability to bring a strong, creative point of view to the table as it relates to creating campaigns that resonate with the target audience.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to overall strategy driving creativity, ideation, and innovation that leads to ownable consumer engagement opportunities in the digital and traditional spaces.
  • Work with Brand Experience, Investment, and Strategy teams to identify the role of content partnerships within the larger media plan, and how these partnerships 1) reach our target and 2) deliver on overall client asks and KPIs
  • Work with Investment teams to identify opportunities that align with larger JBPs and preferred media partners
  • Collaborate with content creators - networks, producers, studios, influencers, and digital/social publishers to create, identify, customize, and execute opportunities that deliver on specific client goals across disciplines
  • Understand the content and digital landscape and how each can be applied to deliver on brand objectives; includes having an understanding of relevant upcoming brand tentpoles and media moments to proactively seek out potential partnership opportunities
  • Establish content partnership best practices in service of increasing advertising effectiveness, and work directly with clients to ensure that campaign execution will drive efficiencies and effectiveness based on consumer behavior and best practice within the channel
  • Work with Media Partners to produce branded content on behalf of clients
  • Manage all partnership elements from initial ideation to campaign wrap, including compiling partner consideration sets, building RFP briefing materials, RFPing the marketplace, tactical recommendations to clients, and day-to-day comms with media partners and clients
  • Oversee production timelines, ensuring creative assets adhere to campaign timelines, and that campaign wrap and measurement tactics are delivered effectively and in a timely manner upon completion

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience with digital media and content partnerships strategy
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to detect and translate a story behind numbers/data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to translate and present complicated ideas in easily comprehensible yet inspirational/creative style (storytelling is key)
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with the ability to think unconventionally in proposing solutions; willingness to learn and create solutions that challenge the status quo
  • Negotiation and influence skills steeped in required industry, brand, and competitive knowledge
  • A proven ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects/campaigns effectively, and ability to work well under pressure to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients, vendors, and media representatives, with a history of negotiating effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Proven experience in effectively coaching and developing others, as this role will involve managing at least 1-2 additional team members

Compensation Range: USD $106,780.00 - USD $170,937.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
