HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE...

The Associate Director, Cloud & Edge Platforms is responsible for leading the strategy, governance, and execution alignment for cloud, hybrid, and edge infrastructure platforms that support enterprise and manufacturing workloads. This role ensures cloud and edge capabilities are architected, engineered, and operated in a secure, scalable, and supportable manner, aligned with enterprise standards and business requirements.

Reporting to the Sr Director, Digital Infrastructure, this role operates within the Digital Infrastructure organization and provides senior leadership over teams responsible for cloud architecture, cloud engineering, hybrid cloud platforms, and edge-adjacent solutions. The Associate Director serves as the primary accountability point between architecture, engineering execution, and operational readiness for cloud and edge platform services.

This role leads a multi-disciplinary organization spanning cloud architecture, engineering, DevOps, hybrid cloud platforms, and edge operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO...
• Own the cloud and edge platform strategy and roadmap, aligning it to enterprise modernization initiatives and manufacturing requirements.
• Provide leadership and governance across Cloud Architecture & Engineering, Hybrid Cloud platforms and operations, and cloud engineering execution teams.
• Ensure cloud and edge platforms are architected, built, and deployed in alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and operational standards.
• Translate architectural intent into executable, standardized, and supportable solutions in close collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
• Oversee execution of cloud deployments, migrations, and hybrid integrations across enterprise and manufacturing environments.
• Ensure platforms meet requirements for availability, performance, resiliency, recoverability, and scalability.
• Govern standard build patterns, reference architectures, and deployment models for Azure and hybrid workloads.
• Lead the Associate Director, Hybrid Cloud, providing direction and holding accountability for operational readiness, service health, and lifecycle alignment across hybrid cloud platforms.
• Lead the Sr Manager, Cloud Architecture & Engineering, providing directional support and holding accountability for cloud architecture, engineering execution, DevOps delivery, and platform standards.
• Partner with Cybersecurity to embed identity, access, segmentation, and cloud security controls by design.
• Collaborate with Global Network Services to ensure cloud connectivity, routing, and edge networking are reliable and scalable.
• Support manufacturing, warehouse, and site-based workloads by ensuring edge and cloud solutions align to operational realities.
• Oversee lifecycle management for cloud and edge platforms, including upgrades, feature adoption, and technology refresh.
• Provide regular communication to leadership on platform health, risks, delivery progress, and modernization outcomes.
• Lead and develop managers and senior technical leaders across cloud and edge domains, setting clear accountability and performance expectations.
• Serve as a key member of the Digital Infrastructure leadership team, advancing the organization's transformation and strengthening leadership and technical capabilities to meet emerging business needs.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE... (MUST HAVE)
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of experience in cloud, hybrid, or infrastructure platform roles.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or infrastructure teams, including experience leading other people-leaders (managers and/or senior managers) in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong hands-on understanding of Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, and shared services.
• Experience delivering cloud platforms aligned with enterprise architecture, security, and operational governance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead across architecture, engineering execution, and operations.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience operating in MSP-delivered or hybrid delivery models.
• Proficiency in IT Service Management and experience operating in outsourced MSP environments leveraging ITIL framework

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE... (NICE TO HAVE)
• Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, or edge-enabled environments.
• Familiarity with edge computing, OT-adjacent infrastructure, or site-based workloads.
• Exposure to infrastructure automation, DevOps, or cloud governance frameworks.
• Exposure to DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management practices and systems.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$146,600-$201,600

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
