Full Job Description
The Role

We're hiring an analytically driven, client-focused Associate Director, Analytics to support one of the world's most iconic beauty brands - Estée Lauder.

This is a high-impact, highly visible role for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, storytelling, and client strategy. You'll lead media measurement across national and retail campaigns, turning complex data into clear business narratives that help Estée Lauder make smarter, faster decisions. You'll work closely with internal WPP teams, including Data Engineering and Data Science, as well as external partners, to push the boundaries of what measurement can do for a world-class luxury advertiser.

If you're someone who geeks out over campaign analytics, loves translating numbers into stories, and wants to do it for a brand that is truly iconic, this is your opportunity.

What You'll Do

Media Measurement & Campaign Analytics
  • Execute and continuously advance media measurement for campaigns, including setup, reporting, ROI analysis, forecasting, attribution, and evaluation of campaign effectiveness - all aligned to WPP best practices
  • Develop data-driven insights for both national and retail campaigns, translating analytics into clear business narratives and actionable client recommendations
  • Build deep fluency in Estée Lauder's Direct-to-Consumer business, tracking and optimizing toward daily revenue goals across standard and promotional periods using Google Analytics

Testing, Innovation & Data Collaboration
  • Collaborate with internal teams on testing strategy and frameworks for new platform technologies, data sources (including clean rooms), and tactics that drive efficiencies
  • Stay current on trends in media measurement, analytics tools, and industry best practices - bringing fresh thinking and WPP's thought leadership to the account
  • Support the development, automation, and evangelization of dashboards and data inputs/outputs tailored to client needs, leveraging WPP's tooling and expertise

Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Partner closely with WPP's Data Engineering team for data and dashboard support, and with WPP's Data Science team for applying advanced analytical methods to business challenges
  • Collaborate with internal WPP teams and external partners on measurement projects, custom studies, and KPI development
  • Manage relationships with agencies and vendors as needed, in close alignment with business objectives
What You'll Bring
  • 3-5 years of experience in media analytics, market research, or a related field - ideally within an agency or consultancy environment
  • Strong experience with media measurement, campaign analytics, and data storytelling, with a proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable client recommendations
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, as well as Excel and basic coding (SQL and/or Python preferred)
  • Prior experience with major media platforms - Google, Meta, TikTok, and others - and a track record of leveraging channel data for campaign reporting and optimization at scale
  • Familiarity with digital marketing measurement methodologies including MMM, Attribution, Brand Health, Lift/Incrementality Testing, and Data Clean Rooms
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, storytelling, and communication skills - comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balance diverse stakeholder needs, and thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively across matrixed teams and agency structures
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus
