About the RoleAs the backbone of the investment world, SS&C is committed to excellent client service and our Investor Services teams are fundamental to the delivery of that service. Associate Directors coordinate new client launches, build and maintain strong client relationships and provide guidance and mentorship to their teams.
How You Will Make an Impact - Coordinate new client business meetings, clear communication of launch or conversion requirements
- Analyze, establish and review new client launches and conversion fund data in database
- Work with external auditors and accounting to complete confirmation and due diligence requests
- Assist and lead departmental initiatives
- Attend and contribute to operational, client and regulatory meetings in order to maintain and improve client service
- Provide coaching, training and leadership as necessary to the Investor Services team
- Act as an escalation point and problem solver for the team, ensuring action plans are implemented in case of any service issues
- Review and validate investor reporting to distribute to investors
- Develop culture of continuous efficiency improvements resulting in increased capacity
Required Experience - Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- 8+ years' experience in Investor Services or related field (financial services/fund administration, corporate communications, portfolio management or securities analysis)
- Previous management experience is required
- Strong knowledge of financial services/mutual funds/hedge funds/private equity funds required
- Excellent communication skills, including written, listening and presentation abilities
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and relationship building skills

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
New Jersey: The expected base salary for the position is between $91,000 USD to $190,000 USD. New York: The expected base salary for the position is between $91,000 USD to $190,000 USD.
In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company's discretion.
