TD has embarked on a multi-year digital transformation and expansion of GTBs product suite to position the transaction bank as a leading North American cash management provider, enabling significant business growth across the franchise.
The centralized Product Management organization will serve a critical role in TDs ability to develop leading products and capabilities by enabling greater scale, capacity, quality and efficiency for our Transaction Banking businesses across Canada and US. It will deliver product strategy, product development, and go-to-market approaches for the entire Transaction Banking business. Product-related decisions will be made once, implemented once, and leveraged by all three businesses.
Role Summary
The Associate, Liquidity Product Management, is a critical role responsible for defining and executing the strategic roadmap for the Product Factorys liquidity product suite, including virtual accounts, cash concentration, notional pooling, and investment services. The Director drives product strategy, market positioning, commercial growth, and governance while leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Product Vision
Own the strategic roadmap for the Product Factory's liquidity product suite, balancing client needs, regulatory demands, operational capabilities, and revenue objectives.
Drive multi-year product strategy across markets and our three in-scope business segments (Canadian and US Commercial Banking and TD Securities), with a focus on competitive differentiation and scalable innovation.
Champion strategic initiatives at senior forums, influencing executive stakeholders and steering cross-functional decision-making.
End-to-End Product Ownership
Lead the full product lifecycle across ideation, design, development prioritization, commercialization, and ongoing optimization.
Oversee investment planning, business cases, and budget alignment for product enhancements and new builds.
Ensure the delivery of complex product initiatives, partnering across technology, operations globally.
Market Research & Opportunity Development
Conduct and direct advanced market research to identify new growth opportunities and emerging trends in liquidity and treasury management.
Evaluate strategic partnerships, industry shifts, and regulatory changes that impact the product landscape.
Commercialization & Performance Management
Drive commercialization strategy in partnership with sales and relationship teams to accelerate adoption and deepen wallet share.
Establish and track product-level KPIs, financial performance, and client satisfaction metrics; lead remediation or enhancement programs when necessary.
Own pricing strategy and profitability management for the liquidity product portfolio.
Subject Matter Expertise & Governance
Serve as a senior SME across liquidity solutions including virtual accounts, notional pooling, cash concentration, sweep structures, and intraday liquidity.
Ensure rigorous product governance, regulatory adherence, and risk management across all offerings.
Lead audit and regulatory engagement relating to the liquidity product suite.
Leadership & Enablement
Mentor and guide junior product managers, promoting best practices in product discipline, analysis, and stakeholder management.
Lead internal and external product education efforts, including executive-level presentations and thought leadership.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in liquidity product management, treasury services, or transaction banking, with significant ownership of strategic product portfolios
Deep expertise across liquidity solutions including cash concentration, notional pooling, virtual accounts, intraday liquidity, sweeps, and investment services
Proven track record in developing multi-year product strategies, driving commercialization, and delivering complex product enhancements at scale
Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional partners at senior levels, including technology, operations, risk, finance and compliance
Strong financial acumen, including proficiency in business case development, pricing strategy, product-level P*L management, and KPI governance
Experience representing products in regulatory, audit and risk management forums
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor junior product managers and contribute to broader product organization development
Exceptional communication skills, including executive-level presentations, client discussions, and thought leadership
Bachelor's degree; MBA or similar advance degree preferred
