We provide services to clinically excellent community hospitals across the country that are dedicated to ensuring quality, compassionate care for every patient, every time.

Responsibilities

The Associate Corporate Director, Lab Supply Chain Shared Services is responsible for leading and optimizing the procurement, logistics, inventory, management, and vendor relationship supporting laboratory operations across the enterprise.  This role works closely with the supply chain team to ensure the consistent availability of high-quality supplies, equipment, and service while driving cost efficiency, standardization, and regulatory compliance.

 

Working collaboratively with laboratory leadership, the supply chain team, finance, and operations, the Associate Corporate Director, Laboratory Supply Chain Shared Services develops and implements strategic sourcing initiatives, assists Shared Services in negotiating contracts, and oversees supply chain performance to support clinical, diagnostic, and operational goals.  The role also plays a key part in supply chain integration, data analytics, and process improvement initiatives to enhance service levels, reduce waste, and mitigate risk.

 

The position requires strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and a deep understanding of laboratory workflows, regulatory requirements (e.g. CLIA, TJC, CAP and ACHC), and healthcare supply chain dynamics. The Associate Corporate Director, Laboratory Supply Chain Shared Services provides oversight of vendor performance, ensures compliance with organizational policies, and drives continuous improvement initiatives that align supply chain strategies with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related healthcare field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years working experience in supply chain management, within healthcare or laboratory service required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years in a leadership or management role with responsibility for cross functional teams and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Experience in sourcing, contracting, inventory management, and vendor relations; familiar with laboratory operations

 

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Supply Chain Management, Clinical Laboratory Science background or related disciplines. Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
