Full Job Description
Currently Teltonika is looking for an Associate Controller for the Americas region (North and South America). By joining our team, you will be part of a group of knowledgeable and helpful colleagues and play a pivotal role enabling Teltonika to grow our presence in Americas market, through implementing and developing financial controls, monitoring and reporting functions.

In this role, you will:
  • Oversee full-cycle accounting for regional offices: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, AP/AR oversight, intercompany postings, and month-end/year-end close.
  • Support with audit and statutory reporting: work closely with our regional teams to coordinate preparation of annual financial statements, build audit support packages, coordinate with external auditors, and close audits on time.
  • Ensure tax and compliance readiness: support local tax filings (VAT/GST, CIT, withholding, payroll-related reporting where applicable) by coordinating data, reviewing calculations at a high level, and working with external advisors.
  • Deliver monthly reporting and insights: review and provide P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting with variance analysis vs budget and clear explanations to HQ and regional CEOs.
  • Manage cash, payments, and treasury visibility: weekly payment reports, cash forecasting, working capital discipline, banking relationships support, and FX exposure monitoring/mitigation.
  • Strengthen internal controls and cost discipline: periodic review of accounting records and bank statements, approval workflows, fraud prevention checks, and spend control recommendations.
  • Improve processes and close timelines: standardize templates, automate recurring reporting, enhance documentation, and drive faster, cleaner closes across offices.
  • Partner with regional CEOs and HQ: provide ad-hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and decision support to drive transparency and accountability.
  • Stay current on regulatory and business environment changes: track country-specific banking, tax, and reporting changes and translate them into practical actions for the organization.


What we expect of you:
  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Economics / Finance / Business administration or related field;
  • 4+ years of work experience in audit, accounting or finance;
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex data;
  • Energy, drive and can-do attitude are a must-have;
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate potential financial and business risks.


Nice to have
  • Work experience in multinational environments
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a big plus
