Associate Concept Analysis Engineer - IAMD
Position Responsibilities:- Perform Modeling & Simulation (M&S) activities in support of strategic analysis and future capability planning
- Apply MDAO / model-based methods to evaluate technical trade spaces and identify areas of concern or opportunity
- Analyze current industry and technology trends to identify critical capability gaps
- Support development of future-state technical strategies and long-range capability roadmaps
- Contribute to structured assessments of existing architectures, concepts, and system limitations
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate analysis into actionable recommendations
- Produce clear, concise technical outputs, briefings, and decision-support materials for leadership
- Bring an innovative, analytical mindset to challenge assumptions and help modernize legacy approaches
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 2+ years of experience in Radar, Threat Analysis, Digital Signal Processing, Digital Communications, Interceptor Technologies, or Drone/UAS Systems
- Experience with MATLAB for data analysis, prototyping, and/or modeling and simulation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- Experience in digital signal processing theory, including the application of fundamental digital signal processing techniques
- Knowledge of linear signal theory, Fourier transforms, and communication theory
- RF, electrical transmission, signal processing and modeling in MATLAB
- System test experience including test design, implementation, and execution for breadboard and brassboard hardware
- Experience working in a fast-paced, independent research and development (IRAD) environment
- Familiarity with multiple programming languages and development environments (C++, ADA, Python, etc.) in an Agile environment
- Experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting hardware with standard lab equipment
- Experience in formal technical writing (i.e. Whitepapers, Tech-Notes, Technical Journals, and Research Reports)
- Experience in technology readiness level (TRL) maturation of novel technologies and concepts

Summary pay range: $91,800 - $124,200
