Full Job Description

Position Description

PIMCO is seeking a high-performing and adaptable Channel Marketing Associate for Latin America. This role will help translate regional business priorities and client needs into relevant, integrated marketing programs that extend our reach, deepen engagement and sustain relevance across a diverse set of markets and client segments.

The ideal candidate is commercially curious, digitally fluent, analytically minded and equally comfortable moving between insight, planning, execution and optimization. The Associate will partner with Sales, Compliance and colleagues across Marketing including Content, Digital, Events, Creative and Analytics, to deliver cohesive client experiences across channels.

This is an opportunity for an early-career marketer who can immediately contribute to a high-performing team that learns quickly, experiments responsibly, shares knowledge and continuously improves how work gets done. The role requires strong ownership and execution discipline, while offering room to shape solutions, challenge the status quo and build scalable approaches. Professional fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken, is required.

About You

If these qualities resonate with you, we'd love to hear from you.

  • You are a proactive problem solver.
  • You combine strong execution discipline with curiosity, creativity and sound judgment.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities, and can turn complexity into clear actions. You show resilience, ownership, urgency and a client-centric mindset when facing challenges.
  • You build trust through reliability, transparency, attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
  • You communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and adapt your style across functions and seniority levels.
  • You welcome feedback, learn quickly and share knowledge so the broader team improves with you.
  • You are energized by experimentation and new technology.
  • You embody PIMCO's CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Responsibility and Excellence.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Partner with LatAm Sales and Client Marketing leadership to understand business priorities, client needs and market opportunities, and translate them into clear marketing briefs and action plans.
  • Support the planning and activation of integrated, multi-channel marketing programs across digital, content, events, paid media and sales enablement, ensuring a coherent client experience.
  • Run assigned campaigns and workstreams from brief through delivery, including timelines, stakeholder coordination, quality assurance, approvals, localization, distribution and post-campaign review.
  • Use dashboards, campaign metrics and other available data to monitor performance, identify patterns and recommend tactical optimizations tied to defined objectives.
  • Use approved AI and automation capabilities to accelerate research, synthesis, ideation, content adaptation, quality control and workflow efficiency, with appropriate human judgment, source validation and compliance review.
  • Contribute to experimentation by helping define hypotheses, success measures and learnings; document and share what worked, what did not and what should change next.
  • Coordinate effectively with Content, Digital, Creative, Events, Analytics, Sales and Compliance partners, clarifying ownership, dependencies, decisions and next steps.
  • Support the translation, creation and maintenance of marketing resources, templates, playbooks and repeatable processes that make it easier to deliver high-quality work across LatAm markets.  Adapt global or regional content and messaging for local relevance without losing brand consistency.
  • Monitor relevant client, competitor, media, technology and marketing trends, and bring forward ideas that could improve client relevance or commercial impact.
  • Ensure marketing activities and materials follow applicable regulatory, brand and firm requirements, engaging Compliance early to reduce risk and rework.
  • Communicate progress clearly, manage multiple priorities with timeliness and accuracy, and proactively escalate risks, trade-offs or resource constraints.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken, is required. Additional fluency in Portuguese is valued.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in marketing, client engagement, campaign management or a related discipline. Financial services or asset management experience is preferred.
  • Interest in financial markets, investment products and the needs of advisors and institutional clients, with the motivation to build deeper expertise.
  • Experience supporting or executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels, with exposure to the campaign lifecycle from briefing and build through measurement and optimization.
  • Demonstrated digital fluency, including an understanding of audience targeting, email, web, paid media, virtual or in-person experiences, and how channels work together.
  • Practical familiarity with generative AI and automation tools, including the ability to write effective prompts, and evaluate outputs critically.
  • Analytical aptitude and experience using KPIs, dashboards or structured reporting to assess performance and communicate insights.
  • Strong project management, organization and quality-control skills, with the ability to manage concurrent deliverables and deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word and collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (CRM), marketing automation (Marketo), project management and sales enablement platforms (Seismic) is desirable.
