Role Summary

Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a Business Operations Associate to drive continuous end-to-end improvement across our entire global operations orgs. The Associate will join the Business Operations team, and, given this team's end-to-end mandate, will be expected to both 1) own the evaluation / scoping of business transformation initiatives as well as 2) drive end-to-end execution and ultimately ensure value delivery (efficiency, cost, quality, etc.). The ideal candidate is a self-starter with top-notch data analytics skills, including extensive experience with Power BI/dashboarding, SQL, data lake / data warehouse management, and API integrations across data platforms. The candidate will also have a demonstrated propensity for solving difficult problems, experience driving end-to-end transformational change, and maintaining a team-first mindset. Candidates with a passion for sports, culture, & entertainment will find themselves a strong cultural fit.

Within the first 6 months, you will:
  • Take end-to-end ownership of a high-impact business initiatives and, together with the Director, Business Operations, work cross-functionally to ensure project success
  • Work with Operations teams to identify, size, and actively prioritize all potential improvement initiatives / opportunities on the roadmap
  • Diligence areas of inefficiency via data analysis (Power BI, Airtable, internal data sources), establish measurable goals / KPIs, and subsequently drive owned improvement programs to ensure value delivery and success
  • Work cross-functionally with wide array of teams (e.g., product/brand, project management, licensing, etc.) to deliver on high-level cross-functional initiatives
  • Help Fanatics Collectibles improve the quality, speed, cost efficiency of our operations & manufacturing processes, delivering a better consumer experience to all collectors
  • Become a subject matter expert in all things Trading Cards!


The Ideal Candidate:
  • New York, NY based
  • 2+ years of experience, with a preference for Management Consulting, Strategy, Finance / Accounting, or Biz Ops / Strategy roles
  • Extensive experience using Power BI (data modeling, DAX measures, dashboard design optimizations), Excel VBA / macros, SQL, data integrations across platforms to drive business outcomes
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or similar preferred
  • Strong quantitative modelling & analytical skills, excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong financial acumen
  • Team-first management mindset, with a passion for solving highly complex problems collaboratively with their direct reports
  • Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize and remain flexible in high pressure dynamic situation
