Job Description:

The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) will be responsible for supporting the cell team to build brands and deliver the cell value creation plan. They will support the Marketing team and will lead cross-functional business teams in the planning, execution and analysis of various project and initiatives. Additionally, the ABM will have opportunities to assist in the development of brand strategy and the execution of various marketing activities to achieve specific brand/cell objectives, including delivery of sales, MAC, and Household Penetration targets.

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years Marketing work experience required, preferably within CPG industry.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Masters preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening). This includes ability to give effective presentations to all levels of management.
  • High levels of interpersonal skills, specifically in influencing without direct authority, resolving conflict, and creative problem solving.
  • Proven analytic skills. Must be comfortable mining and analysing data, then developing clear and actionable conclusions/recommendations.
  • Proficient in managing complex projects. Well organized, successful at prioritization, attentive to details, clear oral and written communicator.
  • Biased toward action. Takes initiative, entrepreneurial, can hit the ground running and move projects forward right from the start.
  • Resilient problem solver. Can build consensus even if all team members may not agree. Can find creative solutions and common ground to move key initiatives forward.


What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Analyze & review brand/cell performance, competitive dynamics, and category trends to offer recommendations to increase effectiveness of plans and execution.
  • Influence brand strategy and growth opportunity recommendations leveraging customer, consumer, and brand data.
  • Monitor brand expenditures and manage the advertising and consumer promotions budget.
  • Conduct post evaluation of activities, extracting insights to develop lessons learned and recommendations for future brand activity.
  • Execute marketing plans - activation, renovation, and innovation - with excellence, including cross-functional collaboration to ensure quality and readiness of plans, tracking of performance in market, course-correction and learnings to improve future performance.
  • Develop & track growth levers through flywheel analysis (i.e. price-pack, reach+, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing to engage Sales and join key customer calls.
  • Participate actively in forecasting to understand brand and market trends and drive a quality demand call

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
