What makes this a great opportunity?The Jim Beam Global ABM will work with cross-functional partners and external agencies to support the development of Jim Beam's brand strategy, global programs and assets. The ABM will also support the adaptation and adoption of such programs and assets as needed by our local marketing teams across the world. Examples of strategy include guiding our markets to sell our flavor portfolio and ready-to-drink (RTD) portfolio. Examples of programs include execution of sports and music partnerships and innovation launches. Examples of assets include our Brand Visual Identity, product packaging, brand merchandise and key visuals for our products and our lifestyle campaigns. This role reports to the Global Sr Brand Manager.
Role ResponsibilitiesPortfolio, Geography & Key Relationships - Support global strategy and programming for Jim Beam's full bottle spirit and ready-to-drink (RTD) portfolio.
- Collaborate with local marketing teams globally.
- Frequent engagement with senior GBH leadership.
- Build and leverage relationships with cross-functional partners, including but not limited to Innovation,
- Supply Chain, Insights, Strategy, Finance and PR.
(Gemba) Insights- Assess consumer behavior and trends leveraging formal research and in-market experience. Form a POV about what action the brand should take based on assessment.
Brand Foundations & Stewardship- Provide global brand strategy guidance & brand governance information to market teams.
- Facilitate exchange of information (competitive, regional insights, inventory, etc.) and stay abreast of local market needs with regular market communication. Ensure local market plans are developed and executed in adherence to brand foundations.
Strategy & Planning- Support ongoing review of full bottle spirits and RTD portfolio architecture strategy.
- Partner with Innovation team to support product innovation development and launches.
- Partner with Sales and Finance to draft new product P&L statements.
- Lead post-mortem analysis of new products and global programming.
Annual Brand Planning and Delivery- Support development of Jim Beam's "brand experience" and supporting programs and assets. Work with local market teams to translate into annual brand plans that best suit specific market needs.
- Support and/or lead elements of the brand experience plans inclusive of digital, social, PR, retail, experiential, and other touchpoints.
- Support budget management and forecasting process, including ROI evaluation.
- Contribute to monthly brand updates and business reviews.
Qualifications- 4-6 years of consumer marketing experience.
- University degree (MBA preferred).
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively across an organization, gaining credibility amongst peers, managers, cross-functional partners and external agencies.
- Track record of effectively leveraging digital marketing eco-system (social, digital campaigns) and support tools (including AI).
- Agency management experience, or high level of engagement with external agency or consultant.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and provide independent thinking supported by fact-based rationale.
- Sound written & verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities; experienced in synthesizing data (e.g. research, Brand Health tracking, Nielsen, Shopper tracking, in-market learnings) into insights.
- Strategic thinking: Track record of levering insights to develop brand ideas that align with strategy.
Salary Range - The salary range for this role, is $110,000 to $125,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate's location, experience, and skillset.
