Job Duties: Conducting investment due diligence, financial review and modelling, and preparation of investment committee materials. Assisting with executing investments, including working with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate, document, and close transactions. Performing market research, including research on potential investments, as well as industries, sectors, and themes of potential interest.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Financial Analysis, or a related field and two (2) years of experience as a Consultant, Director, Associate, Analyst or a related role. Must have two (2) years of experience with: Financial projections and modeling in Microsoft Excel; Quantitative and econometric analysis including regression analysis, forecasting and risk modeling; Valuation, including discounted cashflow and comparables analysis; Stress-testing and sensitivities analysis for financial and economic models; and Synthesizing data from multiple sources to craft presentations that clearly and effectively communicate project outcomes. Must have one (1) year of experience with: Industry research in niche or emerging sectors including Financial technology, agricultural technology and blockchain technology. Must have any amount of experience with: Business development, including sourcing investment opportunities.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$200,000.00 - USD$245,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
