Full Job Description
Foley Hoag's Intellectual Property Department has an opening in any of our domestic offices for a junior associate with 3-6 years of patent prosecution experience, including experience as a patent agent or technology specialist.

We seek applicants with strong academic credentials and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the areas of molecular biology, immunology, immuno-oncology, genetics, and agricultural biotechnology would be particularly useful.

We staff our clients' patent matters leanly, affording associates an opportunity for significant responsibility and excellent career development. Our associates work closely with partners to gain a depth of experience in a broad range of patent strategy, drafting, prosecution and diligence matters, and get immediate client contact. Such experience has contributed to the firm's consistently excellent rankings in various national satisfaction surveys and industry recognition lists.

Compensation range is $225,000 to $250,000 commensurate with related experience and qualification. The salary of the candidate selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, specialty, and training. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the firm's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
