Responsibilities
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents to support clients' needs.
• Conduct thorough legal research to provide informed advice and innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and ensure successful outcomes.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitration sessions with confidence and professionalism.
• Maintain clear and open communication with clients to build trust and ensure their needs are met.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations to provide the most current legal guidance.
• Participate in team meetings to share insights and contribute to collective problem-solving efforts.

Qualifications
• Experience with formal ADR proceedings with a focus on mediations.
• Must have experience in informal negotiations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in the face of competing needs.
• Must have exceptional writing skills.
• Experience with or willingness to learn homeowner law under California's Davis-Stirling Act.
• The ability to empathize with clients who are experiencing highly individualized disputes that can affect their daily lives.
• Mature judgment and high emotional IQ.
• A practical approach to problem solving.
• The ability to quickly analyze and focus on legal issues that arise in real-world disputes.
• Must have experience in managing a high-volume caseload.
• 3+ years' experience in dispute-oriented representation.
• Experience in real estate and/or business is a plus. (Prior administrative law, personal injury, or family law experience can also translate well.)
• Must be licensed in California.
