Full Job Description
Purpose:

The Associate Attorney will work in our firm's Hawaii Foreclosure Department, and will manage cases with an emphasis on judicial foreclosure, real estate litigation, and probate for deceased parties

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage cases from inception to completion
• Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies
• Draft court pleadings, defense of motions
• Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person
• Other duties and special projects as needed

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Juris Doctor from accredited law school
• Preferably One year of experience in the practice of law but not required
• Admission to practice law in the state of Hawaii
• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Must have the ability to interpret client systems
• Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
• Ability to manage and prioritize large caseloads
