Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in mainframe migration
• Proficient in IBM product installation and best practices
• Strong knowledge of conversion processes for various products
• Experience with IBMs File Manager, FastRexx, BMC FileAid, and other migration tools
• Hands-on skills in Rexx for coding changes
• Deep understanding of z/OS and system programming capabilities
• DB2 and IMS administration experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct migration of ISV products to IBM products
• Install and deploy IBM migration tools
• Interface with customers to assess their requirements
• Utilize problem determination skills for IBM products
• Analyze and implement coding changes as necessary
• Ensure compliance with best practices during installations
• Provide support for z/OS and mainframe operations
